AII Analyst Ratings
Bulls say
American Integrity is benefiting from a stronger underwriting profile, as 2Q26 operating EPS of $1.78 beat consensus of $0.88 and PSC of $0.84 while the combined ratio improved to 63.4% on a reported and underlying basis. Its outlook is also supported by 14% gross written premium growth, led by 28% voluntary-market growth, even as Citizens takeouts slowed to only 81 policies, showing the business can expand without relying on a single earnings tailwind. Favorable Florida reforms, litigation claim frequency falling from 15% in 3Q21 to 1-2% today, and a successful June 1 reinsurance renewal with 15-20% rate decreases and aggregate retention reduced to $75 million all strengthen profitability and reduce risk.
Bears say
American Integrity is exposed to an unusually concentrated risk profile, with 98.6% of direct premiums written and 97.6% of policies in-force in Florida as of December 31, 2024, leaving earnings highly vulnerable to hurricanes, severe weather, and changing climate conditions. Its monoline, single-state model can magnify regulatory, legal, and economic shocks, and losses above the reinsurance limit could quickly erode capital despite its disciplined underwriting history over more than 19 years. Dependence on third-party distribution partners that face Florida writing restrictions, plus the pressure of operating as a newly public company, adds execution risk and makes sustained multiple support harder if early quarters disappoint.
