AIRJ Analyst Ratings
Bulls say
AirJoule Technologies is attractive because its pressure-swing AirJoule platform has clear technical differentiation, regenerating at roughly 60°C–70°C and showing Prime energy consumption below 160 Wh/L using low-grade waste heat, versus about 400–700 Wh/L for refrigerant systems and more than 1,300 Wh/L for conventional desiccant systems. Commercial momentum is building through third-party validation and deployments, including Kubota’s purchase of two Core systems, a Prime shipment to Europe for a data-center test, and Core shipments to the UAE, while cash at 2Q26 of $41.4M at AIRJ plus $1.6M at the JV supports planned activity into 2028. The outlook is further strengthened by large end markets such as data centers, residential development, and industrial dehumidification, where AirJoule can monetize scarce water access, waste heat, and permitting advantages, with Core DH already showing up to 40% energy savings versus incumbent desiccant-wheel technology.
Bears say
AirJoule Technologies is viewed negatively because demand visibility remains weak, with no disclosed order book and most relationships still limited to pilots, evaluations, or early-stage agreements, so conversion into durable revenue is unproven. The business also faces meaningful financing risk: it had $43.0MM of combined corporate and JV cash at 2Q26, but a $64.8MM remaining JV commitment and modeled 2027E and 2028E raises suggest dilution or additional funding may be needed as commercialization scales. Execution is further constrained by supply-chain concentration at BASF, early-stage regulatory and field-performance risk, and the need to prove that its energy-efficient Core and Prime systems can overcome incumbent reliability, service, and manufacturing-economics advantages.
