BIRK Analyst Ratings
Bulls say
Birkenstock Holding is viewed positively because its brand combines iconic, comfort-led designs with broad consumer appeal, and 76% of 2022 sales came from the top five models, supporting strong repeat demand and full-price realization. Recent results reinforce that durability, with F'Q3 revenue up 15% in constant currency to €720M, adjusted EBITDA of €242M, and margin of 33.7%, while DTC grew 16% and outpaced B2B for the first time in over two years. The outlook is further strengthened by raised F'26 constant-currency revenue growth to +15%, at least €710M of adjusted EBITDA, double-digit growth across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, plus ongoing capacity investment and APAC’s higher future growth potential.
Bears say
Birkenstock Holding is pressured by deteriorating unit economics, with F'26 gross margins down 250+ bps YoY as tariff and FX headwinds proved worse than expected and DTC growth lagged wholesale by a wider margin. Its 3Q Adjusted EBITDA margin fell about 70bps YoY to 33.7%, while Americas contracted ~235bps and APAC ~500bps, showing that regional softness and currency effects are already eroding profitability. Although the brand remains strong, capacity constraints in clog production, over 60% of sales in other currencies, and a lack of meaningful near-term catalysts leave the company exposed to macro risk, tariffs, and execution missteps.
