GRO Analyst Ratings
Bulls say
Brazil Potash is supported by a materially de-risked Autazes project, with 21 construction licenses secured in August 2024, water usage rights approved on January 30, 2026, and a favorable August 18, 2026 court ruling that preserved development momentum. The asset’s economics remain compelling, with a post-tax NPV of $2.5B at an 8.1% discount rate, a 15.8% IRR, a 5.6-year payback period, and modeled life-of-mine operating costs of about $86.76/t against a $420/t potash assumption. Its outlook is further strengthened by 91% of future production already under offtake agreements, up to $94.0M in construction tax savings from SUFRAMA registration, and Brazil’s structural need to reduce heavy potash import dependence.
Bears say
Brazil Potash is a highly speculative, capital-intensive developer whose economics depend on potash pricing, and those prices remain volatile amid geopolitical disruptions, with Brazil CFR Granular MOP recently near $405/t. Although it has offtake agreements for 91% of production, future cash flow still hinges on successful mining at Autazes, where technical and operational uncertainties could impair output quality, production, and profitability. Its outlook is further weakened by likely future funding needs, dilution risk, political and currency exposure in Brazil, and the possibility that additional capital raises or BRL/USD volatility could erode returns for shareholders.
